THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HUMIDITY AND SUBSIDENCE OF SOILS IN THE TERRITORY OF THE SITY KARSHI
Abstract
In the article, the authors summarize and analyze the currently existing studies on loess and loess-like soils with subsidence properties that cause uneven precipitation of buildings and structures. At the same time, the importance of studying subsidence, like any other geological phenomenon, in assessing the stability of buildings and structures is determined by the nature and scale of the phenomenon, as well as the frequency of its occurrence associated with the spread of loess rocks. The critical humidity Wcr depends on the pressure acting on the loess layer and are inversely proportional to each other.
