SOME SOMATIC PHRASEOLOGICAL LACUNAS IN THE DIALECTS OF KHORAZM AND THEIR ENGLISH EQUIVALENTS
Abstract
This article analyzes lacunae representing human body parts which occur in Khorezm dialects that does not have any equivalent in the literary language. It is shown by examples that the gaps which may appear while translating from Uzbek to English or from English to Uzbek may be filled with the units that exists in dialects.
