BIOTITE GRANITES OF THE ZARKAINAR INTRUSION: COMPOSITION, ORE CONTENT AND CONDITIONS OF FORMATION (SOUTHERN NURATAU)
Abstract
The Zarkainar intrusion is composed of S-type granitoids (quartz-diorite, granodiorite, biotite granite, etc.), formed due to sedimentary- metamorphic rocks as a result of plate collision. Most of it is composed of biotite granites. As a result of the research, complex blocks of gabbro-diorites, diorites and quartz diorite bodies, granodiorites-adamellites, tonalites, double-mica granites and vein rocks were identified. The latter consists of syntrusive (granite-aplites, aplite-pegmatites, pegmatites, etc.) and dikes of diorite porphyrites and spessartites of the calc-alkaline series, belonging to the independent North Nurata dike complex. Spessartite dikes are enriched in REE (up to 950 g/t). The granitoids of the Zarkainar intrusion form a consistent (homodromous) series - monzodiorites, monzonites and normal biotite granites.
