REPRESENTATION OF ANIMALISM IN THE WORK OF E. SETON- THOMPSON

Abstract

In recent years, animalism has become one of the important and relevant areas of contemporary art. However, despite its growing popularity, both the artistic and visual works of the Canadian Ernest Seton-Thompson, who is considered one of the founders of this movement, remain little known.In his work, Thompson raises important questions about the nature of man and his relationship to animals, creating unique works of art that attract the viewer’s attention with their brightness and emotional power. writes in the genre of realism and naturalism, sometimes eco-novel, which creates an alarming effect and unpredictability, forcing the viewer to think about how humanity interacts with other life forms on the planet.
