Bu maqolada parallel korpusning shakllanish evolyutsiyasi, uning tarjimada va leksikografik tadqiqotlarda obyekt sifatidagi ahamiyati misollar bilan asoslab berilgan. Tilshunoslar tomonidan yaratilgan turli nazariyalar asosida amaliyotga joriy qilingan parallel korpuslarning funksional imkoniyatlari analiz va sintez qilingan. Parallel korpusning funksional imkoniyatlari asosida uning vazifaviy kategoriyasi yangi gipotezalar bilan boyitilgan.
